This here is my favorite bike; The BMW S1000rr. This bike comes with high tech bike modes you can choose from depending on the weather or if you want to have some fun. Rain mode limits the bikes' power to 15 HP and the DTC/ABS option also restricts throttle application at lean angles greater than 38 degrees. Making it a perfect bike to ride in the rain, if you need to. The second is sport mode. The Sport setting is much preferable in dry, high traction conditions. In Sport mode the bike is only limited with throttle openings at lean angles beyond 45 degrees.
Without the Rain setting's restriction of power output, the S1000RR is able to unleash its full 193 acclaimed crankshaft HP. Next is Race Mode, which is recommended for trackday riders. The DTC in Race mode allows 48 degrees of lean before affecting throttle application, which is a high angle for even the best riders. Last is slick mode, which is usually only used by professional riders. "Slick" refers to the tires and not the traction that the bike gives. In fact, the only way to access this mode is by an optional accessory to plug into an under-seat port.
